What Could we do with the Web in Lenham

The web is all about co-operation and mutual support. A website without the support of its contributors goes nowhere, equally a website that has no references from other websites is invisible. Get a community together who can work within these requirements and the skies the limit!

Working together, and considering the way that Google functions, Lenham Haulage could be 1st page, possibly No1 on Google for just about any haulage term it wanted! So could just about any of the goods and service providers in Lenham. What an opportunity too keep passing up!

Lenham.net has always stated that it will link to any website that links to it. It does usually very quickly. Soon after establishing the link, the referenced website appears on Google!

What about providing local email addresses - pc@lenham.net church@lenham.net this is so very easy with the new tools that are coming online such as from www.google.com/a

About the website

The website was first set up back in 2000, basically there wasn't a village website and with the support of Focus, I thought that it would be interesting to see if there would be any support.

The intention has always to make this a low maintenance website, thus giving it a greater chance of continuing. That has worked and the site still plods on when others have sprung up, been admittedly far more dynamic, bright etc - then get closed down.

There is always an opportunity to help with the web site, or Focus (call Sheila) or the community - I would say contact the Parish Council, I've been trying for years but with no luck.
